We held the final Wtech Break in 2019 with Elizaveta Yurusheva at the beautiful Fairmont Grand Hotel Kyiv.
Elizaveta has been working in the hotel and restaurant business for over 10 years and manages one of the most famous hotels in Kyiv — Fairmont Grand Hotel Kyiv and Riviera House.

Elizaveta told Wtech participants about the important components of the hotel business in Ukraine and the world, the main do’s and don’ts in management and working with the audience.
Elizaveta also shared her methods of creating a wow-effect and the factors that could activate the hotel business market in our country.

For Elena Bandrovskaya the main insight was “you need to live your business 24/7. Keep abreast of the work and human relationships in all corporate departments”.
Anastasia Davydova: “it was incredibly interesting to plunge into the atmosphere of the hotel business, a premium product and learn about the working specifics with VIP clients. We learned a lot about how Elizaveta copes with managing such a large business and what she draws her strength from”.
Alexandra Sirovatko “began to see the restaurant and hotel business differently as a client. The service impeccability we receive as customers very much depends on the processes being written down to the smallest detail and the perfectly coordinated work of the hotel team. Businesses are different, but management approaches are similar”.
Maria Tintul highlighted the idea that “the human factor is the key in any industry. Choose people with drive who will enjoy every day at work, allow them to make mistakes, consider tiredness risks and foster recovery. And most importantly, let them think and take care of their workplace”.
